Location

We are conveniently located in the heart of Cajun country, in Breaux Bridge, LA. Our out-of-town visitors fly into airports in Lafayette (about 10 minutes away), Baton Rouge (about one hour away), and New Orleans (about two hours away), often combining a trip to the Crescent City and/or River Plantation Country with a Cajun sojourn. Whether you fly in or come all the way by car, we’re easy to reach off Interstate 10.

We are located on historic Bayou Teche, and our visitors enjoy both visits to the known centers of Cajun culture and leisurely prowls along the tree-shaded bayou banks. Just five minutes away is Lake Martin, an extraordinary nature preserve where tens of thousands of pairs of aquatic birds nest each spring, and where you get the rare treat of seeing an alligator, nutria rat or roseate spoonbill.
